Shipping Policy

We ship from our home in Inkster, Michigan — and we pack every plant like it’s going to someone we know. Because around here, it usually is.

Where we ship: Anywhere in the continental United States. We can’t ship to PO boxes (plants need a doorstep, not a little metal cubby), Alaska, or Hawaii right now.

When we ship: We ship Monday through Wednesday only. Here’s why: if your plant ships on a Thursday or Friday, it spends the weekend sitting in a dark warehouse or a hot/cold truck, and nobody wants that. Monday-to-Wednesday shipping means your plant is moving the whole time it’s in transit.

How fast will my order go out? Orders go out within 3–5 business days, on the next Monday–Wednesday window. If you order Wednesday night, it’ll head out the following Monday. We’ll send you tracking as soon as it leaves.

How much is shipping? Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location and box size. We don’t mark it up — you pay what it costs us to get it to you safely.

Cold weather (roughly November–March): When it’s under 45°F where you live, we add a heat pack and insulation to your box at no charge. Your plant rides warm the whole way. If a serious cold snap hits, we may hold your order a few days until it passes — we’d rather ship late than ship a frozen plant. We’ll always message you first.

Hot weather: Same idea in reverse. If it’s pushing past the mid-90s along the route, we may hold your order until the heat breaks, and we’ll let you know.

Please meet your plant at the door. As soon as that box lands, bring it inside and open it up. A plant sitting on a porch in January or July is a plant in trouble, and that’s the one part of the trip we can’t control.

Something arrived damaged? That’s covered under our Live Arrival Guarantee — see our Refund & Returns page. The short version: send us a photo within 24 hours and we’ll make it right.
